Its TechEd 2006 Time

So the SEA (South East Asia) TechEd 2006 is happening early September in Malaysia. Seems like they have some exciting presentations lined up in 6 different tracks. Ed Quek seems to be blogging about the event at the MSN Live space : http://edteched.spaces.live.com/

And at the meantime, here’s great news for the Sri Lankan IT Community. The Sri Lankan TechEd 2006 is also scheduled to be held in October as usual at the Waters Edge. Check out the official site at http://www.teched.lk, done by our man Wela. Keep a tight watch to this site, for more information about the tracks and titles and speakers. Sure its forming upto be an awesome event for Sri Lanka once again.

Watched KANK

I mean, I watched the hindi movie “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna” (“Never Say Goodbye”) at Liberty Cinema in Colombo, yesterday. It was an excellently directed (Karan Johar) movie, which was ‘kind of not what I expected’. Though the lifestyles behind the storyline was weird for me, Anil Mehta had done an extravagent job with the Cinematography, which is the main reason behind me liking it so much. The songs were simply wonderful too.

Recommendation Level : Yes. Watch It!

BTW, I booked the tickets online through www.etickets.lk who provide online reservations for Liberty & Majestic at present. It was a great experience too. When I walked into the Theatre with my family, the manager was ready with the booking printout in hand. Stright to the seats. No queues. No waiting. Good thing!

Welcome a.k.a Hello World!

You guessed it right. Jinath moved his blog out of weblogs.us and into WordPress and somebody had to follow. In fact I was in doubt too, with the constant downtimes of the admin page at weblogs.us. Its a pity they are being spammed eternally. They were doing a neat job until now.

Anyway its kind of nice to be here at WordPress, since it has some cool themes and intuitive interfaces. I would also probably need to do some tweeking on top of it. Need to get down all my old entries from Weblogs (as if they are 🙂 priceless…), since its kinda boring to see an empty blog.

So here’s where you’ll hear me from now. www.manzi.net would also point you here. And I guess https://manzi.wordpress.com/feed/ would be what the aggregators want to know. Hee Hee.
